As the peak body for philanthropy we work to service and educate members and the broader philanthropic sector, and raise the profile of philanthropy through advocacy and public policy debate.
We work with federal and state governments to encourage their understanding, support of, and engagement with, the philanthropic sector. We also work with government to encourage the creation of incentives for giving, and the removal of disincentives. Legislative changes that may affect our members and the sector are also monitored, and are communicated to Members via our weekly newsletter Philanthropy Weekly, which you can sign up to here.
