About the Role

The Executive Manager – Partnerships & Philanthropy is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to create, nurture and facilitate deep and sustainable relationships with donors and partners, positively promoting CatholicCare Sydney’s mission and services. The position requires an outstanding communicator, who can build strong collaboration with colleagues and achieve trusted relationships with stakeholders.

About You

To be a successful candidate you will have:

  • A proven track record in identifying, developing and winning new business, ideally in the Sydney market. Managing a strong pipeline of high-value supporters from identification and research, engagement, proposal development and stewardship
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or leadership experience in marketing or business development
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with a proven ability to manage, lead and mentor a high-performing, cohesive team
  • Ability to actively engage across the charitable sector to build CatholicCare Sydney’s social impact profile and thought leadership
  • Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills. Interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, collaborate, engage, negotiate and influence across a range of diverse stakeholders
  • Relevant fundraising expertise with a track record of securing high-value gifts or achieving sales targets
