The Impact Intelligence Specialist will work primarily with our metiora clients (our new platform), who are impact investors, governments and social impact leaders in corporates to strengthen the way they can align to national and international standard frameworks for measuring social impact.

The Role
As an Impact Intelligence Specialist at Seer Data & Analytics, you’ll work directly with clients who are governments, foundations, corporations, impact investors and not-for-profits to strengthen the way they can align to national and international standard frameworks for measuring social impact. You will also support them to understand outcomes frameworks, align to indicators, and measure and communicate their impact. Working alongside customers, you’ll advise on the international and national social impact frameworks, and design and implement practical impact measurement approaches for social impact reporting compliance, build evaluation capability, and help turn evidence into better decisions to improve outcomes.
In this role, you’ll support customers at all stages of impact measurement maturity—from organisations who are developing their first Theory of Change through to those refining established impact measurement and evaluation practices. You’ll facilitate the development of Outcomes Frameworks, and other evaluation approaches that are practical, evidence-informed and aligned with recognised Australian and international standards and emerging best practice. You will also work with extensive partner and advisor network to implement strategic plans, outcomes frameworks and impact measurement on the Seer Communities or metiora platform.
Working closely with customers using the Seer Communities and metiora platforms, you’ll help translate strategic goals into meaningful measurement frameworks, indicators and evidence that support reporting, learning, continuous improvement and policy change. You’ll also stay ahead of the evolving social impact measurement landscape, helping customers navigate emerging legislation, reporting requirements and standards relating to impact measurement, impact investing and the social dimensions of ESG.
You’ll bring strong critical thinking, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to strengthen impact measurement capability and improve outcomes for the communities they serve.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand their purpose, programs and desired outcomes, supporting them to develop practical and meaningful approaches to measuring impact.
- Facilitate the alignment to national and international Social Impact measurement frameworks or the development of tailored Outcomes Frameworks, Theories of Change, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Frameworks that reflect recognised Australian and international good practice.
- Guide customers in identifying meaningful outcomes, indicators and evidence that are practical, proportionate and aligned with organisational goals.
- Provide advice on impact measurement, impact investing and the evolving social impact landscape, helping customers navigate emerging legislation, reporting requirements, standards and frameworks, including the social dimensions of ESG.
- Interpret qualitative and quantitative evidence to identify meaningful insights and communicate findings in clear, accessible and actionable ways.
- Support customers to implement practical impact measurement and reporting approaches using the Seer Communities and metiora platforms.
- Design impact reports, dashboards and evidence products that support learning, decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Research emerging methodologies, standards and best practice in evaluation, social impact and impact investing, contributing to the ongoing development of the organisations’s products, methodologies and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality customer outcomes and continually improve our products, services and customer experience.

Your Capabilities
- Experience developing Outcomes Frameworks, Theories of Change, Program Logic Models or other impact measurement and evaluation frameworks.
- Ability to translate organisational goals into practical outcomes, indicators and evidence frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the use of evidence to demonstrate impact, improve programs and support strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of Australian and international legislation, social impact compliance reporting requirements, standards and emerging best practice relating to impact measurement, impact investing and the social dimensions of ESG.
- Experience facilitating workshops and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret evidence and communicate meaningful insights.
- Experience data activating measurement frameworks that provide insight and reporting for evaluation, continuous improvement and storytelling
- Strong consulting, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently across community, government, philanthropy and social impact sectors.

Your Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- A university qualification in evaluation, sustainability, social science, public policy, community development, psychology, economics, education, international development or another relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working with international and national social impact frameworks
- Demonstrated experience developing Outcomes Frameworks, Theories of Change, Program Logic Models or other impact measurement and evaluation frameworks.
- Knowledge of recognised Australian and international impact measurement, evaluation and ESG frameworks and standards.
- Experience working within the corporate, government, not-for-profit, philanthropy, social enterprise or impact investing sectors.
Desirable
- Experience working with data visualisation, dashboards or impact reporting platforms.
