IRCF Victoria Community Facilitators
FRRR is seeking dynamic, local and experienced Community Facilitators in Victorian rural communities of Colac, Maryborough and Swan Hill, to play a central role in the delivery of the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program.
Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) Victoria is a grassroots place-based program which aims to build the capacity of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations in three Victorian rural communities (Colac, Maryborough, and Swan Hill). Over five years, the program offers flexible and tailored support to strengthen the local NFP sector to more effectively advocate on shared issues, contribute to a thriving community, and achieve long-term impact across priority areas.
A local Community Facilitator plays a central role in the delivery of the program in each community by fostering relationships and building partnerships, supporting local NFPs to access grant funding and capacity building opportunities, and liaising with the broader FRRR team.
It is an exciting and dynamic role with a deep focus on community engagement and no two days are the same. We are seeking three candidates to join the IRCF Victoria program, with one based in each of the partner communities – Colac, Maryborough, and Swan Hill. Interested applicants must currently live in the local community or in nearby townships that are connected to it through services or other means. This role would suit practitioners who have experience working in or with an NFP organisation at a grassroots level, ideally in a capacity building or grants delivery role.
Independent contractor position, 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Approximately two days per week (0.4 FTE).
