Ingrid Albert
Executive Director – Marketing and Philanthropy, Alberts

Ingrid is executive director and member of the fifth generation at Alberts, an Australian family business that has backed pioneers since 1885 and has a mission to create a vibrant and sustainable future. Guided by an Impact Framework, with themes of Equality, Sustainable Environment and Vibrant Culture, Alberts works across a diverse range of activities including impact investing, philanthropy, advocacy and collaboration.
Ingrid leads marketing across the business and is head of The Tony Foundation, which partners with pioneers harnessing the transformative power of music to improve life outcomes for young Australians. The Foundation embraces a responsible investment approach across its corpus through multiple strategies, including positive and negative screens, stewardship, impact investing, and catalytic investing.
Prior to Alberts, she built her strategy and marketing career working locally and internationally in Switzerland and Dubai for FMCG company CPW (a joint venture between Nestlé and General Mills).
An Alberts board director and Tony Foundation investment committee member, Ingrid is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), a committee member of Philanthropy Australia’s Foundations Group for Impact Investing, Co-Chair of Philanthropy Australia’s Family Foundations Peer Network, and in 2025 became a member of Creative Australia’s Impact Investing Advisory Committee.
