Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) has a vacancy in our People grant-making portfolio and is seeking an experienced manager with exceptional skills in program management, development, implementation and evaluation, and relationship and stakeholder management. The responsibilities for this management role are to deliver the IRCF grant and capability support program in the NSW South Coast and build, develop and maintain strong relationships with community individuals, groups and networks, peak bodies, Local Government and Government Agency personnel.
 

About the role 

The key duties include:

  • Continue to curate, refine and build the practice of the Investing in Rural Community Futures program methodology whilst delivering it to an exemplary standard.
  • Establish, nurture and steward effective and high trust grantee and partnering community relationships and networks in pursuit of the above.
  • Actively stay abreast of regional development and non-profit organisation development issues, trends and opportunities of relevance to the program community sites, drawing on existing and building new networks and linkages to enhance strategic opportunities and program outcomes.
  • Engage and deploy community facilitators to work with the program community sites on the capabilities and capacities identified as being required to progress and sustain priorities.
  • Compile the papers and support to the IRCF Reference Panel this will include providing plans, reports, program and grants analysis, engagement opportunities and attending the meetings of this group.
  • Manage the program budget including grant funds, community facilitation costs, and operational costs,
  • Manage the IRCF program evaluation partner to monitor and evaluate the grants and overall program outcomes and with the FRRR Communications
  • Consultant to appropriately disseminate insights and learnings; and
  • Work with the Peoples Portfolio Lead & CEO to attract further philanthropic partners to expand the program.

Proactively work as part of the team, contributing to continuous improvement, practice development, and role-modelling organisation values.

This 0.8 FTE role is located in South Coast NSW but applications from further afield will be considered. Flexible work arrangements exist.
