It is also an opportunity to learn more about participatory grantmaking for corporates and how this can be adopted in your organisation’s approach to funding.

Presenters 

Lauren O’Shaughnessy – Global Director of Impact, Macquarie Group Foundation

Lauren O’Shaughnessy is passionate about making an impact through philanthropy and has spent more than 15 years working in the philanthropic sector for corporate foundations at Macquarie Group, Clayton Utz and AMP, and in the not-for-profit sector at MS Research Australia. Lauren is currently Global Director of Impact for the Macquarie Group Foundation and is responsible for the Foundation’s global grantmaking strategy. She is Deputy Chair of the Board of Milk Crate Theatre and she also mentors young people through the Raise Foundation.

Tuan Pham – Head of Social Impact, LinkedIn

Tuan has extensive work experience across the globe, specializing in driving social impact programs and partnerships in Australia, the US, Thailand, The Netherlands and Vietnam – at companies including The World Bank, Booking.com and Heineken. At LinkedIn, Tuan focuses on initiatives that connect professionals facing barriers, including women and youth in the APAC region, to the networks, skills & knowledge they need to access opportunity. He believes in a world where no matter where someone is from or where they went to school, they should have equal access to economic opportunity.
