In the next meeting of the Education Funders Network, we aim to learn more about an exciting nationwide philanthropic collaboration with the government, the Strategic Framework and upcoming parcels of work that will underpin this arrangement.
The collaboration – the Investment Dialogue for Australia’s Children – aims to improve the well-being of children, young people and their families, working with communities to reduce intergenerational disadvantage. As such, it is a holistic initiative, and so will touch on education as well as health, communities, First Nations, well-being and other key areas.
The Executive Convenor of the Dialogue, Simon Factor, will outline how and why the collaboration was established, who is involved, how philanthropy is working with government, what it will focus on in the coming years (which includes education and education-related initiatives) and how philanthropy can contribute.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A afterwards.
Intended audience: Education Funders Network members. This is open for other Philanthropy Australia funders at the ‘New Gen’, ‘Active’, ‘Engaged’ or ‘Impact membership’ tiers.
