What’s shifting in US philanthropy: Insights for Australian funders

We are delighted to invite you to a session with Peter Johnstone, CEO of The Clem Jones Foundation, who will share reflections from his time and experience immersed in the United States philanthropy sector in 2025. He will speak candidly about what philanthropy looks like on the ground in the US, what surprised him, the most significant shifts he observed, and the changes he believes Australian funders should be anticipating.

The session will be interactive, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.

Following Peter’s presentation we will be providing an exciting update on Conference 2026. Hosted in Brisbane from 7^th September this is an important opportunity to showcase Queensland Philanthropy to over 1200 delegates attending.

Annabel Davies, PA’s Director of Strategic Projects and Partnerships, will also join us virtually and share current Conference program, partnership and presenter information. This is a wonderful time to understand this very exciting event and how you can plan your time for full engagement and learning.
