We are excited to bring you an informative and interactive session on the Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) – an $11.6m funding package from the federal government to support the growth of the social enterprise sector.

In the session, we will hear from several of the key stakeholders behind the design and rollout of SEDI:

  • Judi Drown – Director, Social Impact Investing Policy, DSS (SEDI lead agency)
  • David Hetherington – CEO, Impact Investing Australia (SEDI grant administrator)
  • Jess Moore – CEO, Social Enterprise Australia (SEDI education and mentoring coordinator)

Together we will unpack the key initiatives within SEDI, update on roll out plans and discuss opportunities for collaboration and funding to leverage this significant investment from the federal government.

Please come prepared to join in the conversation and be part of several breakout groups to explore how philanthropy can engage in SEDI and support the sector and their grant partners to truly engage with this incredible initiative.

Intended audience: Social Enterprise Funders Group members. Funder members at Active, Engaged, or Impact level are welcome to join the group. Please contact [email protected].
