State of Philanthropy Insight Series
The State of Philanthropy Insights Series is Philanthropy Australia’s new national program exploring major shifts shaping giving today. With events across six states, the Series will convene members and sector leaders to examine emerging patterns in philanthropy, ignite thoughtful dialogue and inspire new thinking.
In 2026, the Series will delve into how global philanthropic trends intersect with Australia’s unique context, with forums in in Perth, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.
Philanthropy Australia is delighted to be bringing one of the world’s preeminent philanthropy strategists to Australia for the first time to lead the Series. Heather Grady, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in San Francisco, is a visionary in systems level philanthropy and a catalyst for global collaboration.
Heather will deliver a keynote address on trends shaping philanthropy worldwide and how Australia can lead within this global context, followed by Q&A and networking.
The Series will also mark the national launch of Philanthropy’s Australia’s Strategy 2033 by CEO Maree Sidey, and introduce incoming Philanthropy Australia chair Darrell Wade, founder and Executive Chair of Intrepid Travel.
