Community & Philanthropy Partnerships Week 2015

Monday 7 - Sunday 13 December 2015

Philanthropy Australia, in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, is proud to be managing Australia’s Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week.

The initiative, which is supported through the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership, is a three-year initiative which celebrates the ways in which partnerships between grassroots community groups and philanthropy build vibrant and resilient communities.

In 2015, Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week was held between 7 to 13 December. The theme of the inaugural celebration was ‘achieving more together’.

Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week included a small number of grants of up to $10,000 to help communities in urban, regional, rural and remote Australia celebrate what they have achieved by working together in partnership with philanthropy. The Minister for Social Services, the Hon Christian Porter MP, has announced the successful grants, which are listed below.

The week provides an opportunity to share knowledge and best practice, and to strengthen or develop new relationships and partnerships. So even if you don’t receive a grant, we encourage community organisations, philanthropic trusts and foundations, businesses and individuals to celebrate the impact of partnerships in our communities during Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week.
