The New Generation of Giving is a national program to connect and develop emerging leaders in Australian giving. Founded in 2013, New Generation of Giving was created to be a network for individuals in their 20s and 30s to collaborate with and learn from their peers. We help members be more effective agents of social change and maximize their philanthropic impact by connecting them to ideas, each other, other change-makers and key resources.
As of 2015, New Generation of Giving consists of over 170 members from six states. The only one of its kind in Australia, we provide our members with a peer-to-peer network, access to best practices in strategic philanthropy locally, nationally and internationally, as well as opportunities to give back.
New Generation of Giving is designed to help our members develop more strategic, effective, and sustainable practices in a supportive environment that result in more impact.
We hold a variety of events and activities to bring members together, including:
We also assist members with peer-to-peer introductions, issue-based roundtables, guided access to non-profits, resources for philanthropy, and individual meetings with key leaders in civil society.
