Australian Philanthropy Awards

2018 Gender-wise Philanthropy Award

This Award, presented in partnership with the Australian Women Donors Network (AWDN), recognises current achievements from funding initiatives that advance gender equity as displayed through:

  • Direct investment in projects or organisations that support women and girls; or
  • The integration of a gender lens

The funder can be investing philanthropically in women and girls either locally or internationally.

One of the purposes of the Awards is to acknowledge recent outstanding work in philanthropy. As with our other Awards, the timeframe for the Gender-wise Philanthropy Award recognises and celebrates best practice philanthropy across the past five years (for work occurring during the years 2013 – 2017).
