PRESSing Matters in Philanthropy
Member Testimonials
I always look forward to receiving PRESSing Matters as it provides me with a regular valuable overview of current issues in the philanthropic arena.
- Tony Fry, Executive Officer, Scanlon Foundation
PRESSing Matters is a media monitoring service provided by Philanthropy Australia for Members. This service aims to keep members up to date with recent philanthropic news by identifying articles and providing you with a quick overview of each, within a format that recognises that issues of relevance are often missed in an environment where few of us rarely have enough time to keep abreast of them ourselves.
The following periodicals are monitored daily for articles pertaining to philanthropy, with clipped articles stored in the Philanthropy Australia Resource Centre:
- The Advertiser (SA)
- The Age (VIC)
- The Australian (National)
- The Australian Financial Review (National)
- The Brisbane Times (QLD)
- Business Review Weekly (BRW) (National)
- The Canberra Times (ACT)
- The Courier-Mail (QLD)
- The Mercury (TAS)
- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW)
- WA Today (WA)
- The West Australian (WA)
As a Member, you can make use of this service by browsing or searching the catalogue of articles via the Philanthropy Australia website, or
signing up for weekly summaries via email.
Members may also
request a copy of an article listed in PRESSing Matters.
Please note: PRESSing Matters is accessible only to Members and Associates of Philanthropy Australia.
