Philanthropy Australia has made a submission to the Treasury regarding draft legislation proposing to implement reforms to the deductible gift recipient (DGR) framework. The reforms involve transferring the administration of four DGR categories to the Australian Taxation Office.

Our submission conveys this view, and suggests some modifications to the draft legislation that aim to further streamline the implementation of the changes.
