Groundbreaking Gender Compass research set to shift the conversation

Plan International Australia has launched first-of-its-kind research, led by Dr Rebecca Huntley, that segments the broad Australian public into six groups based on their attitudes, behaviours and policy preferences in relation to gender equality. Supported by the Trawalla Foundation and other donors, Gender Compass can be used by communicators, advocates and changemakers to meet people where they are, rather than where we think they should be, writes the Trawalla Foundation's chair Carol Schwartz AO (pictured above).

Women in community services leadership development scholarships

Women and Leadership Australia are offering partial scholarships for women in community services ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per person, for one of four leadership and workplace skill development programs. These scholarships aim to encourage more women to increase their impact at work, progress their career, and step into leadership roles.
